Kidney & Bladder Wellness Ultrasound — 30 Minutes

Experience the convenience of private, in-home ultrasound imaging from the comfort of your own space. This 30-minute kidney and bladder wellness ultrasound is performed using portable ultrasound technology and is designed to provide general imaging awareness of the kidneys and urinary bladder.

Top Ultrasound brings the equipment directly to you. All that is needed is access to a standard electrical outlet and enough space for the ultrasound machine and sonographer to comfortably perform the exam. Your scan can be completed in the area of your home where you feel most comfortable, such as a bedroom, living room, or private open space.

This appointment includes imaging of the kidneys and bladder. For the bladder portion, pre-void and post-void images may be obtained, meaning your bladder is scanned before and after emptying.

Appointment Preparation:
Please be ready at your scheduled appointment time so your scan can begin promptly when Top Ultrasound arrives.

For the bladder portion of the exam, please drink approximately 20 oz of water about 1 hour before your appointment and avoid emptying your bladder until the first portion of the scan is complete. A comfortably full bladder allows us to obtain the best possible bladder images, including pre-void and post-void views.

Once the first bladder images are completed, you may be asked to empty your bladder so post-void images can be obtained.
