Top Ultrasound brings portable ultrasound technology directly to you. All that is needed is access to a standard electrical outlet and enough space for the ultrasound machine and sonographer to comfortably perform the exam. Your scan can be completed in the area of your home where you feel most comfortable.

Appointment Preparation:
Please be ready at your scheduled appointment time so your scan can begin promptly when Top Ultrasound arrives.

For the abdominal portion, please avoid eating for approximately 6 hours before your appointment for the best image quality. You may drink small amounts of water as needed.

For the kidney, bladder, or pelvic portion, please drink approximately 20 oz of water about 1 hour before your appointment and avoid emptying your bladder until the first portion of the scan is complete. You may be asked to empty your bladder afterward so post-void images can be obtained.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the neck, abdomen, and any requested screening area.
