Top Ultrasound brings the equipment directly to you. All that is needed is access to a standard electrical outlet and enough space for the ultrasound machine and sonographer to comfortably perform the exam. Your scan can be completed in the area of your home where you feel most comfortable, such as a bedroom, living room, or private open space.

This is a transabdominal ultrasound only, meaning the scan is performed over the lower abdomen using ultrasound gel and a handheld transducer.

Appointment Preparation:
Please be ready at your scheduled appointment time so your scan can begin promptly when Top Ultrasound arrives.

For the best pelvic images, please drink approximately 20 oz of water about 1 hour before your appointment and avoid emptying your bladder before the exam. A comfortably full bladder helps improve visibility of the pelvic organs.
